My LIFE; what do you think?

What would you do in this situation?

- 17 living on my own in a very scary neighborhood

- No school; because It's hard to get by in school when you've got no momma or dad, or anybody.

- I've lived in over 20 different homes through out my life

- I've got 11 siblings and they are criminals and drug addicts. They are involved with dealing, and very harsh things I don't want to be apart of.

- I recovered from drugs at age 14, and got into them at age 9

- I've been homeless, and slept on the beach

- I am drug free now! and very proud to say I've survived abuse; sexual abuse and being on my own

- I support myself, and try my best to just make it through day by day

- I am very caring! and hope to help families in Africa, and Iraq, and all over the world

- I want to be like Oprah when I am older/ have my own talk show and create plenty of charities for the world

- I want to be known! and make books

I don't know what to do right now in this point of my life.

What would you do?

Forget the negative things people say on here. You are an intelligent, amazing human person! It is people like you that show what love is, what determination is, and what LIFE is! I'm so proud of you and am impressed by your ability. You truly have a gift from God. It looks like He has been caring for you all along and you chose to accept His loving arms.

Thank you for your testimony to all of us!

And to suggest something? Well, I would (to answer your question) check out some charities they have at Church that you can help out with. I know a great charity called the St Vincent de Paul Society in the Catholic Church and they collect foods for the homeless and those who cannot afford much. They visit the families and deliver them material goods as well as spiritual goods when they see them. I used to be with them and they gave me energy to help out with other charities afterward.

God bless you and thank you again!+

I am so sorry that you've had such hard life. But did you know that times like this were actually foretold in the Bible? The Bible also foretold a time when all of these things will be wiped from the earth, very soon. Here is an article on how to find a meaningful life. I hope you will read and enjoy it as well as the many other articles on this website that I think would really help you. There ARE true answers out there amongst all the lies, you just have to be open to finding the truth!

I would suggest you try to get your GED. It is very important to show you would have graduated, had you been able to go to high school as you would have liked.

If you don't already have a job (though it sounds like you probably do), then get one.

Save up to move out of the bad neighborhood.

Rather than looking abroad, maybe you could focus on helping people just like yourself right there in your own community. You certainly have the insight and experience for it.

Best of luck to you, and keep on as you are going.

    You're doing great!

I don't know, and I really can't give an honest answer.

But I'd probably try to leave the neighborhood and try to learn how to live off the land for a while. Problem is I don't know how, and if I were to try to live like that, I'd probably die.

But that's better than living like what you've described, I think. But that's just my opinion.

You should do whatever you need to do to survive. Living a life free of crime makes that harder, but it can be done: surviving without crime.

Join the Marines or Army. They'll help you get a good education. Then you can become like a police officer or fire fighter of something. If not maybe you can become like a social worker to help kids in foster homes. You have strong qualites so you should be able to overcome anything.

You ignored 2: existence, AND WHY? God made you because of the fact He loves you. you have this manner of element reported as 'objective', it fairly is the reason you're unique, particular. That makes you 'particular', particular to no longer me, who cares approximately me, yet particular to the single that created you--God. So, having coming to this end it would do you lots sturdy, to hunt His will on your existence, and stay it to the perfect of your capacity. sturdy success.

I don't know where you are from, but check your local schools and social services for scholarships, aid and loans. You should qualify for all sorts of grants etc to help you further your education and dreams.
