I think it is quintessential of America. A man with a Muslim name was able to become the first black president of these United States post-9/11 and no more than 50 years after the country was at its most heated point in the civil rights movement. It shows that you CAN work and accomplish the American dream and that you really can do anything that you put your mind to. Congratulations to President Obama! Rosa sat so Martin could walk. Actually, as expected, now that proof is out that some of obama's staff DID talk to blago, and were involved at some level, his new stance is that he was wrong because he did not have the FBI info available when he did his in house review... of course, to any one but the intoxicated, the fact that he chose to "complete" his review, without all of the known facts in front of him, indicates an attempt at grooming the public to his agenda... no shock there.

It also indicates that he is complacent, and is willing to make a decision based on little or know facts, just emotion... (sounds like his supporters!).

It also reeks to high heaven of a diversionary, "get our side out fast" manipulation... in other words, a start at a cover up, damage control... not an attempt at true transparency.

Too bad Blago didn't get the memo to play along...

Lets assume Obama lied, but the questions is DID HE LIE before the elections?. No, because this whole allegation did not exist before the elections.

We know from the feds.. that his chief of staff, is reported to have talked to him 21 times. It's on tape. So, if he did or didn't know that at the time, I don't know.

Of course keep in mind also, that Blagojevich, is going to be keeping pretty mum about what actually happened. I'm certain he's going to be setting himself up for a deal, when this all comes to head.
