The first sentence is fine. You could word it different if you wished, but it makes sense as it is. The second makes no sense. It should be something like, "I have been forced by him to do that job"

The first sentence is correct because "one," your subject, is singular.

The second sentence is correct also, but the syntax is strange. It would read better if it said, "I do that job forcefully by him."

The first sentence, about the students, is correct.

The second sentence makes no sense at all. It is hard even to think what you might be trying to say - possibly: "I have told him forcefully that he has to complete that task".

    Hi.

    Try this.

"One of the students is studying better than the other".

"It is compulsory for him to do that job."

    First sentence correct

since "One of . . . " requires a SINGULAR verb. Well done!

    The second should read:

"I insist that he do that job!" or "It is essential that he do the work!"

    OK?
