Anorexia...prickly/bumpy skin?

My best friend is anorexic and has JUST started eating again. But a few days ago, she discovered that she has these prickly bumps all over her stomach and back. Could this have anything to do with anorexia? Thank you!

Her body became accustomed to the anorexia .. and once she ate again she probably shocked her body in some way. The skin is just a giant organ .. that can react just as any other part of the body.

I can't tell you why she is experiencing this particular reaction .. but the body works in strange ways. I don't think it's anything to worry about .. It's very good that your friend is eating again.

She may be having some kind of allergic reaction to the food she's eating due to the fact that she hasn't eaten in so long.. but if they are really bad she should see a doctor.

im pretty sure it does...she will just have to phase it out. she should probably talk to her doctor about it though, just to be on the safe side, also, just to see if there is anything that she is doing wrong. hope everything works out okay!
