    The safest way to carry scissors is with the blade pointed down and to hold your hand around the blade. This will you and other people that you are walking near! ALWAYS WALK WHEN CARRYING SCISSORS!

    put them in your checked baggage I was forced to take mine out of my carry on before 9/11

    Holding them by the handle obviously. If you hold them by the blade you could harm yourself :o
