I don't have a career. What should I do?

I feel sad, confused, and frustrated when I think about my resume and my "career path." I've had all sorts of odds and ends jobs. I've worked in random film productions, launched a retail store for my friend's mom, sat in a stock room and took pictures of fashion jewelry for a wholesale/ importer, and sometimes answered the phone; taught SAT classes, subbed at an urban city public school, and now I work at a call center. Can anyone see a career path in this messy, jumbled set of jobs I've had??? And I haven't worked full time for most of it- I've just put multiple part time gigs together. I don't know what to do with myself or how to make my life more cohesive/ thematical. Please help!

I think the big question is which job did you like the most AND found the most rewarding. Then I would look at career path related to the job you liked most.

You could always work as a careers counselor or similar, given that you have had experience teaching and have tried different things.

You could also launch your own business, maybe in something related to PR, advertising or similar.

One of the choices for "careers" in

"What color is my parachute" was multiple part time jobs that each used a different part of your skill sets so that your using everything you like to do.

Go to college! College is basicallally the only way a person can make a good living. Either that or join the military, marines, army, airforce, or any other military job.

the only thing i can tell you is do something you love, that way its not work and if the pay is not great it wont matter, if you do this years from now you will always be happy and in the end that is all that matters, money comes and money goes
