Atheists, what's the scariest...?
... response you've ever seen from an non-atheist here?
This is ONE of THREE questions I'm posting, to each of three rough groupings.
NON-ATHEISTS: I'm asking politely, PLEASE don't answer this question. Instead, there are separate, equivalent questions for you to answer please.
I posted a question earlier, linked at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmdNV... .
I saw one response there that was just disturbing. It made me realise that there's some scary or disturbing or sick responses we see on these forums and I wanted to know what more there was out there.
Then I realised I should be fair and ask the same question FOR the other groups of us.
So?
I should clarify: I'm using the word "scared" with very broad brushstrokes here. Something can be "scary" for multiple reasons; reasons to which others here have already alluded.
@ Supxsam: You didn't even read the question, even though I went to pains to set up a different one for your kind of response. Downvoted and blocked by me.
@ Agent Smith: for the same reason as I did Supxsam, you're downvoted and blo- oh wait, I've already blocked you for something horrible you wrote on a different post.
@ Clever N: It's not that I'm specifically trying to initiate a chat. It's more that I like to "explain my working (like for `part marks')" with things like up/downvotes and the like. Not to mention any answers which I can prove are untrue I counter on the spot.
@ Everyone: I want you to know I'm contributing to your up/downvotes as appropriate. The particularly clever or insightful answerers I like and would be adding to my contacts list. To borrow and paraphrase a quote: "your ideas intrigue me and I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter". Thanks for... well, if not brightening my day, then at least helping engender a sense of community.

There was a woman here several weeks ago asking questions about the price of admission to the Creation Museum. Turns out she was a home-schooling fundamentalist mother who was taking her brood there as an "educational field trip" for their science class. That's frightening to me.
I guess she felt that if the word "museum" appears in the name, it's got to be OK.

Herzegovina is a element of Bosnia, not a city, city or district. you're, hence, being maximum economical with the actuality. mendacity for Jesus remains mendacity. My cousins additionally served in Bosnia, and the Falklands and northern eire, and that they are the two atheists, are you asserting that they, and another atheist in the militia, are cowards?

Someone calling themself "Loasha" posted a disgusting question that went something like this:
Do Jews exaggerate the Holocaust (if it really happened) to gain undeserved sympathy?
This from a self-proclaimed "former Catholic nun". Pathetic if it weren't so scary.

wow, well i've never had anyone go as far as to indirectly threaten my life. that is disturbing. i usually get the "you're going to burn in hell while i laugh from heaven" response, which really doesn't scare me. definitely annoying though.
wait, i take that back. check out the response i got from "seenotes" on the following question i posted: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Apo4i...

I don't think I've ever been scared by anyone on here. Dismayed, perhaps. The worst case of that was the person who claimed that prior to the flood, the world had never seen rain.

It always bothers me when I get somebody quoting their holy book at me, like I'm a: supposed to recognize their words and b: take comfort in them. I always post a strong athiest view and usually point out I'm an athiest, so it really doesn't make sense to bible-thump me.
I think the worst answer was when somebody called my question re*arded but didn't answer.
Source(s): Not to put you down, but you are breaking the YA rules; especially with your last question. This is a forum where you ask and people answer; if you answer their answer it becomes a chat, which is against the rules. - RainLv 51 decade ago
Any of the multitude which displayed blatant ignorance and a willingness to accept whatever information he/she is spoonfed. I love a healthy debate, but the sheer amount of theists who simply yell at me is ridiculous.

Any kind of response that threatens our lives (in a serious manner of course not a joking one) is disturbing to me.

I have seen believers admit that:
They would kill if their god directed them to, and
They would not hesitate to expose isolated peoples to diseases just to "spread the word".
