Bioshock is an FPS, but really awesome! If you get just one FPS get Bioshock... It's really creepy and immersive and cool! Great to play alone on a dark stormy night... But other non-FPS's are Tales of Vesperia and Eternal Sonata. They're both RPGs; the former is really funny and anime style and the latter is really deep and fairly strategic. Hope this helps!
