What do you think of Yellowstone And The New Year morning pome?

250 small earthquakes in Yellowstone.

Scientists can't figure out why.

Ground is moving under their feet.

They don't know why...uh, Snidely!

Take this one on, dear bird....

USGS-IS-LYING-ABOUT-SOMETHING!!!!

And, uh, what makes you think that?

IT-BLEW-640,000-YEARS-AGO-MEGA-ZONE!!!

Uh, Snidely? Where are you going?

I'M-GETTING-THE-FLOCK-OUTTA-HERE!!!!

Ain't too much to crow about, eh?

Well, talk about it, talk about it...

Gotta move on, gotta move on...first,

Won't you take me to Funky Town?

Dream baby, got me dreamin

Sweet dreams, the whole night thru...

Pink under blue under hazey daze

Of yellow...back to stone...free...

What a day for a daydream...ride,

Ride my see-saw, take a trip with me...

One year past the Past,

One year before the Future...

Take everything you've done

And roll it into one...happy or sad?

Mambo Number Five! Number Nine!

The Doors are open for the NEW YEAR!!!

Good Morning! Good Morning!

Ya'llses!

Update:

Where is Sin? she lives around Yellowstone....she'll tell us the goods on this one....

Update 2:

Jeff...you live in dis South? Dey wood shoots ya fer dat!!! 'youse' is a New Yorker term...means 'youths'...well, that's according to My Cousin Vinny!!!

Update 3:

Oak...yeah, they're laughing their axxes off at Old Faithful...release valve for pressure...

How'd you get that word past the Yahoo editors?

Update 4:

Octogen...even the ancients had a New Year celebration in the Americas...they smashed all the old pottery, burned everything they weren't using at the time, and started over again.

Update 5:

Mixtli...strange that Nostradamus and the Mayans would predict the same date...worlds and times apart, yet 2012 for both! And, December 21st! Midwinter! The world ends not in fire, but in ice...who wrote that?

From what I remember the History Channel saying, someday, hopefully in the far flung future, the south will be covered in about 6 feet of Yellowstone ashes from that volcano. Can you say Pompeii Snidely?

    Good Morning

Going back to my service days, i did a lot of concert party on stage and we used:>

5 and 9 make up for stage work is that what you mean to prepare the stage for the new year?.

That is how i see this latest offering, and this is something i do celebrate.

Where i live almost the whole town gathers in fancy dress to welcome in the new year, which is then celebrated with a big firework display.

Source(s): Best wishes to all on this occasion.

Surprise is that it was only 250 shakes, not 251 or 249! I would be getting the 'flock out of there too!' Geo thermal celebration starting early? Liked the line: 'one year past the past, one year before the future.' GM to you.

Ah, Elys, I've said this before, and I'll say it again... the world ends neither in fire nor in ice, but in superpants. Just you wait and see...

And maybe the Mayans just ran out of space up there on their calendar and took a long-deserved rest from all that getting ahead of their time.

    2012 She's cleaning house.

    Morning.

Edit: I haven't a clue, but I've heard that before. I always thought Hell was near the South Pole anyway.

Yellow stone, also known as sulfur, also know as brimstone. Hmmm, seems to me I read something about fire and brimstone in hell. Does that mean hell is escaping through Old Faithful?

It's the number 9 that gets me every time. Can't help it. Good morning!

I like this, it's funky. I have no idea what you are talking about but I don't think that matters at all. One minor grammatical note "y'allses" should be spelled ''youses all."
