Well, he probably will be interested in getting married in two years but at the moment he is not interested in settling down. You ahve a lot of history together, so still see him but make sure you get out and about a lot. Keep studying because you are doing something you enjoy and think of the long term goal. It is a good idea for him to move out into his own place before he setlles down - otherwise you will just be a 'mom' substitute. You can spend time there and time at your own place. Go out with your friends from college and join some groups. Show him you are not totally dependent on him either. You did say you had different views on things and that may become a bigger chasm if you move in too quickly. Spread your wings a bit and see what you really want out of life before setlling down. Get a holiday job abroad so you can travel a bit. There are lots of student/working jobs you can do in the college holidays. Have some fun. See the world. It's a big place.

No but I would have thought twice about having my shoulder op if I knew how long it was going to take to recover.

yes, but i have taken pathophysiology, chemistry, microbiology etc.-drugs often damage the liver and other organs when used long term

my liver was messed up and i went to an party and got drunk anyway, totally worth it.
