Going to Seattle in May. I was there once before and wasn't thrilled with the places to eat. ?

2 very fussy eaters are going who don't care for strange local hippy places and prefer chain style restaurants or basic sports bar type places. Where is the best place to stay in the city where I can find these types of places. Having some entertainment in the area as well is a plus, and within 5 miles to SafeCO field as well

There are many breweries what about the one at the Pikes Place market. I don't always like "hippie foods" but I find that we have a lot of good places to choose from. Go to: yelp.com and read reviews to places to get a feel for what is being served.

Sports Bars like Julians near/on Eastlake may be what you are looking for. They have games, pool, food, etc. Near the field try Tats or Rock Bottom.

    Good luck.

There are lots of motels in the vicinity of the Seattle Center (Space Needle) and plenty of chain restaurants in the same area (Denny's and Old Spaghetti Factory come to mind, but there are others.) You'd be less than three miles from Safeco Field.
