Try Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo. It really does work. Another remedy says to add 30-40 asprin to a bottle of inexpensive shampoo (Suave, VO5, etc.) and shampoo with it for a couple weeks.
In the meantime, don't wear dark shirts - the flakes will only show up that much more. Good luck ☺

Hi I recently when to the salon and ask the same question for my ten year old daughter, My stylist simply said "eat more fresh fruit" He told us fruits help your scalp be healthy and less dry the commons cause of dandruff. Try using a tick brush and brush your scalp before washing your hair. this will remove some of the dandruff. You can also go to any good salon and talk to an experience stylish (mine is been there for 40 years) I hope this help, may God bless you.

Try these home remedies to get rid of dandruff:
- Warm ½ cup of apple eider vinegar and pour it on the hair. Then wrap a towel around the head and after one hour, wash hair. Do this twice a week for a month.
- Take 2 tablespoons of castor oil and rub it vigorously into scalp and comb the hair.
- Massage 2 tablespoons of tea tree oil into the scalp.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of pure virgin olive oil on the stove until it is warm to the touch. Then wet hair and apply the oil into the scalp with a cotton ball. Massage vigorously and put on a shower cap. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash out the oil with a good shampoo. Apply twice a week.

I had used the regular Head and Shoulders for a long time and that actually never really worked for me. My dandruff is not as severe but I started using the Intensive Solutions of Head and Shoulders and I have no itching and way less flakes because it uses different active ingredients. I also heard the Neutrogena T-gel works. I guess you will have to experiment, there are a lot of anti-dandruff shampoos out there. Just look at the back of the bottles and read the active ingredients so you try different ones to find out which will work for you.
