i know the tradition and history of the big 10 used to be great but how do we keep punishing the more deserving teams today ?
big 10 1-5 in bowls so far ! the best the big 10 can hope for is 2-5 in bowl games. big east 3-1 the acc is 3-6 but they lack the football tradtion and rating appeal of the bloated big 10 teams so their lack of competition gets swept under the rug by espn and the media
I put a lot of the blame at the door of espn they broadcast the games and they skew the poll rankings. espn cares more about ratings than quality match-ups and deserving teams.
we also need a better way to reward the 2nd tier bowl games the auto tie in system gives us these klunkers of bowl games.
losing by 12 is 2 tds that is a blow out to uga. 2 running teams with decent defenses = low scoring.
uga doubled up msu.
ringer = 47 yds rushing?? he was avg 132 per game against mostly big 10 opponents
I won $20 on the iowa game i knew they would beat up So Car

The Big 10 is great at working the system. By not putting in place a conference championship, they are improving their 2 team BCS bid chances.
It's no use complaining about conferences. It's the system that's broken. A playoff system would solve all of this. I'd rather hear whining about which 17th ranked team lost out than which conference got more than its fair share of BCS bids.
It would also save us this Utah-related mess.

No, not the weakest. a ways from the premiere nonetheless. The ACC and massive East are in the back of the great Ten. superb to backside interestingly like percent10, SEC, .........Big12........great Ten, great East, then the ACC Ohio State is youthful and meant to be in a rebuilding year. Wisconsin on no account runs up the score (not even in basketball) Illinois became youthful final year and lost a great sort of close video games so it stands to reason they are going to be aggressive this year. Penn State continually has problems with Michigan. Purdue seems greater advantageous this year than interior the modern previous. Iowa has lost a step or 2 yet will come back. Michigan has problems yet won't lose lower back till they play OSU. Michigan St. ultimately has a coach that has introduced self-discipline to that team. Then we've Duke, NC State, NC, Maryland wait that's the ACC. I recommend we've Pitt, Louisville, Syracuse, guy that's the great East. Is it Baylor, Colorado, Kansas or is that the great 12? i understand this is Mississippi, Auburn, Tennessee, and Vandy precise!!! See that's the SEC. right here we go this is Washington, Washington St., Stanford and Arizona does that recommend that the great Ten moved out west???

Michigan State wasn't blown out but your are right the conference needs to step up. They have good players but for some reason they just don't play will in big games. I do think USC is just better than Penn State and Northwestern played well against Missouri so the Big Ten isn't that bad.

Source(s): I will say this...Michigan State was supposed to get BLOWN OUT....Northwestern was supposed to get BLOWN OUT...hell I bet 24 hours ago SEC fans thought they would do the BLOWING OUT against Iowa... it really isn't as bad as you are making it out to be...I have been pretty impressed with the way our teams are playing....those games will be won in the future you do realize that ohio state and penn state truely blew out Michigan state....by more that 6 TDs - How do you think about the answers?
