Sims Double Deluxe CD not recognized by my computer?
I just received a brand new Sims 2 Double Deluxe game, I put the CD in and the installation screen didn't come up. So I went into My Computer and it didn't' show up there either. The game worked in my other computer... why not this one? How can I fix it?

i had the same problem. it turns out that when they made the new sims they switched over to DVD Rom discs. you have to have a dvd drive installed on your computer to be able to play it.

make sure its not a DVD disc that your putting into a CD Rom drive.

i recently just had that problem when ur playing a sims game you have to be on administrator and you have to have the first sims game so it can recgonize other sims game ur playing now i have to go to my friends house every time i play my game because she has the first one and alot of other ones
