I want to ask you people what you think is the biggest epidemic in America today? there are a wide range of things that a wide range of people are saying that are the major problems. these are topics that I've heard a lot: promiscuity in the media, gay marriage, abortion, teen pregnancies, STDs, obesity, the culture wars, video games, terrorism, the left-wing agenda, the right-wing agenda, illegal immigration, the economy, and a whole bunch of others I can't recall. what do YOU think the main epidemic?
sorry. by "epidemic", I mean just general problem in society, just by any disease or anything. anything political or social or anything.
I meant NOT by just any disease.

If I get to answer honestly, which I'm going to, I have to say idiots.
Idiots are the cause of most of America's problems. Maybe not directly, but it surely ties back somewhere. Let's see:

I would have to say obesity and stupidity. I know that second one sounds like me being a smart *** but it is true. It seems that people here are using less and less brain power every day. Also education is a big issue the public school systems are a mess and this is due to people doing silly and stupid things, which in turn make the students stupid. So it has a snowball effect.

Well America is number 1 in number of obesse children or just plain people. However, if you look way back before the US was the US, the British have used smallpox to kill of entire tribes of native Americans.
