Can they do more than build rockets, take free food, take free fuel, free electricity?
Do they have the pride to be self-reliance?
What is the actual Mission of Hamas? To run the country, for the common good of the Palestinian? For the prosperity of a nation?

None of the above and it never was their intention.
No tools. No statesmen. No administrators.
Read their charter. Their only desire is to kill Jews and Christians and teach a new generation to do the same.

Not a chance. For starters, Hamas is an Islamic terrorist organisation. They can't live in peace with other Palestinian organisations let alone their neighbour Israel. They have no pride and do not have the welfare of the Palestinian people at heart. This is amply demonstrated by the fact that they use them as shields. Hamas is not a political party. It is a band of thugs and certainly not fit to govern. See what they did when they disagreed with Fatah. However, Hamas is running Gaza right now - running it into the ground.

Since they came to power the Gaza fell to pieces !
The obove mentioned "build rockets, take free food, take free fuel, free electricity" are the only qualification the have.
The are yet to learn how to run the country, for the common good of the Palestinian and for the prosperity of a nation.

Run the country?
Remember Hamas took over Gaza by force in 2007 after the Palestinian elections clearly voted Fatah as the ruling party.
Whilst Hamas had more votes in Gaza (a part of Palestine) they did not win the overall election.
Like it or not, Hamas is a terrorist organisation and are not fit to run a country.

they have proven that they cant, how can a terrorist organization run a government? Palestinians need to understand that the exercise of self-government carries consequences. For too long, the international community has failed to extract a price for the Palestinian recourse to terror. That failure has not brought peace, but far worse it has produced the "Palestine" we have now: destitute, savage against both Israelis and moderate Arabs, and, so far, incapable of managing its internal affairs peacefully and competently. By refusing to render Hamas respectable, the U.S. and Israel aren't punishing the Palestinians. They're educating them

No I suspect that a peace time regime run by Hamas would be kicked out in months, but then after almost 60 years of harassment I don't think there are many in Palestine who could run a peace time government there.

I fear for the sanity of the world when people actually question whether a terrorist organization should/could run a country.

sure Hamas can run a country, and they wouldn't have to take anything for free if just israel leave them alone and end her occupation for palestine.
and its for the palestinian to choose who they want as governor and i think they maded very clear that they want HAMAS.
you should ask your self do israel can be self-reliance and stop ask help and support from USA???

Those are the kind of things you do when you live in peace.
When your country is being occupied and your people being harassed, humiliated, assassinated, you organize resistance. I guess that's what Hamas is trying to do.

The palestinians are smart enough to chose whomever they want son.
Tis not up to you or me to decide that.
If you hate these guys why the sudden "interest" then?
I believe that if the jews'll stop shooting them down, arresting them, tearing down their homes or stealing their land they do have a chance to run their country (or what's left of it, to me more accurate)
