holy crap i destroyed linux!!!!?
so im installing fedora core 3
it messed up the grub
i have two hard drives and i accidentally installed fedora and grub on both drives
i went into rescue mode and re installed it to only be on /hdb
im wondering if this deleted windows accidentally but it would have installed on a different partition of C than windows is installed on
I have two partitions of H, one for general storage and one for the OS. it wont let me boot anything and I keep getting a "geom error"
im doing rescue mode to reinstall grub on the same drive as linux is on
oops i meant 10
i was reading like 500 other things at the time of typing this
ok i reinstalled grub to the correct drive
when i attempt to boot fedora i got "Error 17"
does anyone know what this is or how to remedy it? I would love to boot into fedora and then make sure windows is ok, for the sake of my parents

I look like the first thing you need to do is reinstall grub. See the link below I think it will help.
