Kids need routine and even as small babies they know things around them mean something like bedtime at nigt things quieten down lights dim etc.

Try putting her down for a nap she may need it to give her that boost and that is why she is getting cranky as she is tiered.

A lot of kids these days sort of go nuts because routine and discipline (don't mean whacking either) hasn't been established early on

You will have a well adjusted child and manageable child if these are put in to place

    Good Luck!!

skip the schedule and just enjoy your time with her. she already has her own routine, but allow for lotsa flexibility. she'll be in school soon and scheduled for the rest of her life.
