    In the US justice is all about procedure. Mistakenly many people believe that justice is about finding the "truth" of some matter and then resolving it in a "fair" manner. If that were the case then we would not have rules and procedures about what evidence can be admitted at trial, for example. If justice were finding the truth, then any evidence, no matter how obtained, would be relevant to justice and would not be omitted. However, this is NOT the case in our system. Our system is about following proscribed rules and procedures, almost to the point of the absurd at time. And the outcome is that if procedure is followed, then "justice" is done.

    there's a limit to justice, because justice can be very different than revenge, justice has to be balanced according to what they did and their punishment in which they deserve.
