I had lasik about 7 years ago, and it was a great experience. (I was in my late 20s)

The procedure cost about $2300 and I was able to finance it for one year with no interest.

The procedure itself is a little scary, but not painful or uncomfortable at all.

My distance vision is still near perfect (it was terrible before) but my near vision is starting to deteriorate a bit (was warned about this) and I may have to get some reading glasses soon.

    Best of luck!@

how much does it cost, we really don't know.

the money is one factor, but that's not a important factor if it truly cure you, but it does not cure you, it comes with complication, read this website and have a look at the video provided before thinking further with Lasik.

as the other person said, he started to have problem with reading vision,

in my guess, people who have done Lasik will get extreme hyperopia.

we don't know the full complication yet, because Lasik has only been 15 years old, but the complication now is evidence enough it's risky and need more thinking to have it or not
