How do you let someone you love go?

Hmm... perhaps i'm an optimist, or perhaps I don't know enough about the situation, but I'd say that real love would not let go, whether its through patience, diligence, or denial. Love is..irrational..in a sort of way, and the simple act of physical separation is not enough to quiet it. Love is forever. It's never temporary, whether separated by death or displacement.

Its good to have you back Dee. Hope you see happier days ahead.

If this is a case of they'll be gone for a while... then well, enjoy one last kiss... maybe keep a necklace or something he gave you... and look forward to his return.

If it's a case of you're never seeing them again... then hold your memories dear. Give it time... this too shall pass.

Either way... just keep yourself busy. Read a book, have a nice bath, go for a walk, maybe throw yourself into those chores... every now and then maybe just cry. Miss him, but don't think about him too much.

Dee... I'm sorry, really I am. And I did my best to give advice... it's probably pathetic but I did do my best. At the end of the day, there isn't much you can do... except remember what you had. Nothing worse than a broken heart :(
