should good non-believers go to hell?

Well, we can't really tell who's going to be saved and who isn't going to be.

All good derives from God, and so anyone doing something good is following Christ. If someone lives in an isolated village in China and has never even heard of Christianity, but that person in merciful and giving, he is, without even realizing it, a Christ follower. Is it a guarantee that he'll make it to heaven? No, but neither is being a Christian. In fact, calling ourselves Christians will only harm us if we don't actually act like Christians. To say that a power as immense as God's is confined to the Bible is silly. So he can be evident in someone's soul without that person necessarily knowing.

Because it's actually impossible to know who is saved and who isn't, we shouldn't judge.

Who is good? Are people basically good or do they in some way think of numero uno (themselves) at the expense of others?

No one is good. That's why we need a savior. God has a kingdom & is Lord over His kingdom. He is good & His kingdom is paradise.

I don't believe anyone should go to hell... I believe everyone should go to paradise.

Problem is... it is God's kingdom & He is Lord there & the simpleness He asks of us in His word... so many rebel against... they do not want a Lord over them... & since that's the way it is in paradise, because it's His kingdom... He's not going to let rebels into His Kingdom... it would only cause harm to those who desire to live peaceably in His Kingdom... They already suffer persecution on Earth... He will not suffer them to suffer persecution again in His Kingdom.

Hell is not what people think it is... It is actually the existence people choose to live apart from God & apart from His people whom He saves... the results... can be described as hell... although the description's can be harsh... so too can be such an existence apart from the only source of good we know.

Jesus was giving people a glimpse of what things would be like apart from God & God's people over time... there will be weeping & gnashing of teeth... It will be great suffering... mankind was not made to experience this kind of separation... It will be like the evil world before the flood... It would be better to not exist... Yet people say God is unjust... So apart from God & apart from His people they'll be allowed to make up their own justice... yet they will not all agree nor get along, but they will share one thing in common... Rebellion against God & having their own idea of justice... which seems right to them, but not to all.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone... yet God has always honored man's choices & gave others alternatives.

Jeremiah 7:31,They the apostate Judeans have built their high places of Topheth in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire,a thing that I had not commanded and had not come up into my heart.

This is the True God speaking,Hell is a fictionary belief from Dante that men decided to follow,because it could help them to keep men under the control of their Doctrines.God is a God of love and does not want us to serve him because we are threatend harassed ,out of fear or simply lied to. So unless you serve God for any other reason than out of love for him and his word,it just wouldn't count.Do you want your children or spouse to live with you out of fear? I think the Bible makes it pretty clear several times. Here is one

John14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

No Jesus Christ in your life then no. What society thinks and what God thinks are different things.

According to Dante's Inferno, they go to the first level of hell. Its a place where moral pagans go. Good people who did not accept Christ into their hearts. Its not a bad places actually, except your depressed like 99% of the time cuz you weren't saved. Its probably hella boring too. No flames, no anything. You just lie around being bored.

no one is "good". if that were the case, Jesus' purpose would be moot. also, if one willingly rejected God..why should they be allowed into His kingdom??
