i havent worked on one in years but i think it was a small plastic filter right by the intake manifold near the brake booster

correction that was the regular civic

the cvcc is on the drivers side of the fuel tank in the fuel line under the rear of the car

I owned either a 1976 or 1978 model Civic CVCC a bazillion years ago. The fuel filter was located in a hole beneath the back seat, directly behind the driver.

I'm sorry, I can't answer your question. I'm just really surprised because I have not seen one of these cars for 20 years. I do have a link with pics so you can see what it looks like. It is not in the tank or in the carb. It is somewhere in the fuel line.

    Look for the following component:

If you can't find it under the hood anywhere, it may be hidden under the backseat where your fuel pan/canister is located.

    Good luck!
