Should I go to gym to lose weight ?

I am a 24 year old man. My height is 5 feet 4 inches, and weight is 68 kg. I want to do some exercise so that I can lose some weight. For this do I need to go to Gym regularly ? If I buy some of the equipments and try those in my home, will that be enough ? It's hard for me to manage time to go to Gym.

There are a lot of websites where I can find tips and advices about exercises. Can I follow that ? Please answer.

If you don't want to spend money, gas, etc going to the gym, you can stay home and exercise without equipment. You can do crunches, pushups, wall sits, jumping jacks, etc. You can also go for jogs. If you aren't sure if you need to lose weight, look up how to find your BMI. If it is over 22, you should lose weight. Hope I could help!

you can create your own program to do at home. there are plenty of websites out there - just google "at home exercise routines" the best way to lose weight is cardio paired with a healthy diet. start with healthy foods with absolutely no carbs after 5 pm (you body wont turn it into fuel - its too late in the day) and a small cardio workout daily (a jog, bike ride, jumping jacks, dancing to music) - try the link below..

    good luck in 2009! :)
