Online dating a good solution?
I'm a 21-year old college student who has trouble meeting girls. Is online dating a good solution for me? I'm pretty picky about girls, so i don't really want to settle for any girl. I'm looking for a good connection. People tell me I'm a good catch all the time. Handsome, smart, and funny. Just not as outgoing as i'd like to be. Should i try online dating, or does anyone have any other ideas?

Well, it's not for everyone, but it can't hurt to try, right?
Make a profile on plentyoffish.com. It's free and tons of people use it.

well... try starting up a fun conversation with a girl and see where it goes. It could be that your just shy around women. From what I know, online dating does not last long unless you guys have a really good connection and meet up.

what are your interests? if you go somewhere that involves what youre interested in and you see a girl that catches your eye then you already share one thing and it might be easier to go up to her but online dating just sounds like a fake relationship to me its like you can say and do whatever you want online and you cant be embarrassed about it because the person on the other end wont see your reactions but in real life you are more honest with yourself and the other person

dont go to eHarmony or Match.com, etc.. they are all designed to keep you a member as long as they can. This includes matching you with people that are "so close" to the one you'd really love, but not really so you keep going back for more.
I found my parter of two years! =) here: http://partners.pantheranetwork.com/z/4820/CD917/ and i think you should try it, there is a free trial and everything so all is good. I didn't even have to pay before i found my soon to be fiance.

I met my boyfriend on http://wwwsinglesnet.info/
It took about a month, and he showed interest in me. I registered for a lot of different ones, and didn't like most. This one is the best so far, and the best thing is it is free!
