Is Obama's appointment of Leon Panetta as head of the CIA His first step to dismantle the USA defense systems?

Yea, I gotta say this surprised even me. The more I see of this guy, the less I understand. I'm starting to think this may be worse than I thought..and that's saying something.

What we really need for a change is, in fact, inexperience. Not so much in our Commander in Chief as in our Congress. Despite what they so happily assure us every time their election cycle rolls around, experience is not much of a plus where they are concerned. Particularly when the chief experience they can boast is furthering their own personal fortune and prestige, and that of those wealthy and powerful whose bribes have traditionally rented their votes. What we need in Congress is regular people with smarts and common sense, who still recall what it is to be a non-privileged citizens, to work for a living, and to be disgusted with the shenanigans and corruption of our elected officials. Because, obviously, the variety of experience which is presently rife in our government, is anything but the kind that this country needs.

I cannot fathom why this decision has been made. Leon Panetta has zero experience in this area and the CIA has been damaged in the past by the Clintons. We need to have security and sanity to protect our citizens. I do not see it happening in this administration and the damage which will result from the compromises which have been made may be the ruin of an organization which is essential to our welfare. God help us all!!

Everything box of rocks does is to dismantle, not only our defense, but our way of life. What little we have left of the doctrines we realy don't need any way being were living under the 10 planks of communism already. Terrorist we won't have to worrie about as long as one is in the White House.

Yes. There is no possible way the appointment of a career politician with no intelligence experience is good for the CIA or America, and Obama should be tried for treason. You know why Obama picked him, don't you? He is a civil rights activist.

Obama wants a yes man! As well as man who will hold the terrorist hand when questioning attained prisoners. This is how Obama plans to allow us to be vulnerable to terrorism. I guess we just have to wait for the next hit I hope it's not N.Y. again we are tired of it.

He has no experience, does "O" really know what the hell he is doing? I think not!! Yes and alot who voted for him, are now wondering what happened!! not the kids on here though!! they have not one clue at all!!!! this is worse than bill clinton reducing our military, we will now be open to anything, its the beginning of the end!! wait and see!

Frankly, I don't know if America is going to survive Obama. It just gets better and better with him. This and Bill Richardson pulling out because of a contract Grand Jury investigation... It is appalling.

It is just like when jamie gerlick and reno stopped the CIA FBI and law enforcement from sharing intel.

Get ready for some human bombers now people. That is what I like a President who does not know jack.
