We are starting a landscaping business and need a business name.?
Help!!! We are starting a landscaping business and can not agree on a business name. Our main services will include lawn/yard care, tree trimming, shaping and snow removal. We are based in Montana and want a catchy name that rolls off the tongue smoothly like "A Cut Above" or "Git-R-Done". Any suggestions will help. Thank You...

Cutting Edge Landscaping. Whatever choice you make with your name make sure the service included in it is what you want to focus on.
I started my business as __________ __________ Lawn care, and I am now trying to focus on landscaping and hardscaping which is hard because people in the area now think about my company as only a lawn care business. Just something to keep in mind

While Cut Above is cute, for me it also tells me you are pruner happy. Personally, I'd be looking for a company that emphasizes plant health and not plant cutting. I'd be looking for a company that is certified in tree and shrub health and pruning, then your name wouldn't be your selling point, but rather your expertise.
I'd lean more towards a name like GreenScapes which is alittle less threatening towards the plants. Git-R-Done, plays down the business. You want quality sounding name reflecting your work.

I like A Cut Above, plus you should always try ot pick a name close to the top of the alphabet; that way, when people are looking online or in the phone book for listings locally, your name will be at the top, rather than the bottom.

Try something with an organic name like Ecoscapes, Earthscapes or Environmental Landscaping. Right now, everything is about green and earth friendly.

Grow and Mow! I like the way "A Cut Above" sounds. It's classy and memorable.
I'd probably avoid "Git-R-Done." I wonder if Larry the Cable Guy would try to sue you...he does have the term trademarked.
