2006 chevy colorado transmission question?
it may just be my imagaination but my tranny dosen't seem to shift into overdrive properly. I can drive it for about 2 miles at a steady 65 mph before it shifts into overdrive. My truck only has about 45000 miles on it and I am just curious if this is common or if there is really a problem. It is still under the warranty but I would hate to go in there and find out that is just the way the dang thing runs

send me a personal message.
is it not shifting into 4th gear, or is the torque converter clutch not engaging or a delayed engagement.
a complete lack of 4th gear is a problem. delayed torque converter clutch engagement could be a result of too low coolant temperature, or various other factors.

If the OD light isn't blinking back at you, go for a filter change and fluid flush.
