The absolute best high capacity magazine on the market, bar none, for the Ruger 10/22 is the Butler Creek Steel Lips.

Over the years, I can honestly say that I have tried EVERY high capacity magazine brand and type available for that rifle and the Steel Lips is the ONLY one I have never had a problem with.

I can't give Butler Creek enough praise for this magazine design. It works flawlessly.

They are 25rd magazines and can be "jungle clipped" together for a quick and easy mag change. And being that the magazine's body is made of clear polymer, you can easily see how many rounds are still remaining in it.

I have easily put 10,000 rounds through the Steel Lips magazines I have and have never had a jam that was caused by them.

I've had good luck with Butler Creek Hot Lips. Butler Creek also makes a better version with steel rather than plastic. These I'm told are the kind to get. I may get a couple when/if my others start jamming more (although I have several thousand rounds through them at this point with very few jams).

I've got an older Eagle 2230 30 round mag and have not had any problems with it. I got it used as a partial trade.

I'm surprised it works as well as it does as it's all plastic around the feed area (no metal feed "lips").

I've always heard the metal lipped versions beat the all plastic models, so maybe I got lucky.

Maybe some other Eagle mag owners have had the same results.

I am not sure who makes the best, but I bought a Ram-Line 50 round mag for my 10/22, and it jams VERY frequently. I have heard that the metal lipped mags are better, but I would definitely NOT reccomend the Ram-Line mags.
