All of them have great reputations, but personally I would go for LSE. Apart from Oxford & Cambridge it seems to be the most instantly recognised in the rest of the world - everyone has heard of it. Have a look here -

It doesn't have international relations but for politics, which is the closest thing, LSE is second only to Oxford. The cost of living will be higher in London but then Edinburgh is fairly expensive too - plus, you will presumably be living in university accommodation, and rent is the biggest expense. Most of the other students will be living on tight budgets too so it's not like you'd be going to the more expensive bars/ restaurants/ nights out etc. In terms of sights, Edinburgh is meant to be lovely but, well, London's the capital! You'd never be at a loss for something to do. Kings College is good too but doesn't have quite as good a reputation as LSE. As for the person who said Birmingham is second only to Cambridge academically, I have no idea where they got that from...
P.s., I don't study at LSE, so this is unbiased!

It depends on what you want. All have good academic reputations.
Cost of living is much cheaper in Scotland. Edinburgh is Scotland's cultural centre. The military tattoo and the comedy festival being two of its biggest events.
The down side of living in Scotland is the weather. It is far colder and darker in winter than in London. In summer you have the advantage of the Scottish countryside. Beware of the midges though, they pack a nasty bite.
I think that you should also consider the University of Birmingham. Birmingham is a relaxed city to live in. It is a great place for music, and is nothing like as expensive as London. It has excellent transport links to the rest of the country and is 2hrs by train from central London. Academically it is ranked only behind Cambridge for Undergraduate study.
Birmingham's history is an industrial one, but there is plenty to see and do. It has more parks than any other city, and you are never far from the countryside.
The university rivals Loughborough as the countrys best sporting university and has an annual athletics meet against Harvaard & Yale or Penn State. The campus can't boast the historic stonework of Cambridge, but it is attractive and only 3 miles from the city centre, passing much of the City's nightlife on the way.
