Questions about being hit with a small blunt object on the head?
The object is a large screw, flat tip, almost 1cm in diameter. it was attached to a heavy swing so I took quite hard of a hit on my head.
I've went to the hospital last night to stop the bleeding, I did not have any concussion so the nurse said I will be ok.
But I was just wondering, could the impact fracture my skull? I'm no expert here of course, so I don't know whats the effect of skull fracture, if it would have kill me if I had one or what.
They did not take any xrays. Still have some weird feeling in the head this morning, but i don't know if its from the lack of sleep last night.
and finally, a not so important question. Will my hair grow again after the shave a huge spot off? lol

It takes a whole lot to actually fracture your skull! My husband had a motorcycle accident in which his head hit a cement pole at 45 MPH with no helmet. He was in a coma for 45 days and his skull fractured, but the fracture was not the issue it was the bleeds on his brain (like bruises on the brain) They shaved his whole head and cemented his skull together and he came out of it completely with no brain damage and his hair is once again down to his waist!! I think you will survive and yes your hair will grow back!!
