What's 4 divided by a half?

    Alright, when you divide by fractions, such as 1/2, you multiply by the reciprocal. The reciprocal is the fraction flipped over. For example, the reciprocal of 1/2 is 2/1, so then you multiply 4/1*2/1, which gives you 4*2/1*1, or 8/1, which is 8.
