16 yr. old looking for a job to get some experience in the medical field.?

I was a Certified Nurse aid when I was younger. If you don't go through the crash course training which is 2 weeks then you are just a NA. Usually only hospitals have NA's. After they hire you if they are still interested then they will pay for your training. Hope I helped!

At your age, some may hire you, others say no way. Why? Insurance.

If I were you, I would look to work at a place part time in the front, as a biller, receptionist, coder, something that has to do with paperwork.

We put people through training once they were employed by us..I was in a dialysis service...for other jobs they could do when they reached the age of 18. You have the right mindset, keep on charging on!

First aid courses are a great way to learn medical terminology and how to treat minor to major first aid emergencies. You can also join first aid groups that volunteer their services at sport events and such.

you can volunteer at a hospital,

where you can transport patients, help their families, possibly run front desk, or just spend time with patients.

volunteering looks great on college application, and will help you ge the feel of the medical profession.

my firm is really good they set me up with a job when i just got out of high school but i went to a technical school for medical work
