I like you, Jersey Guy. You're a proud veteran (as am I), you seem to be a man of honor, well educated and such, but you make me sick. I was feeling pretty good after having a hearty lunch at the local Mexican restaurant.

Then I come home and get on the computer. My first page of reading is your question about Reid, Obama, and Blago. You could have made me ill with just one of those names but, no, you had to mention all three in the same in the same sentence. Have you no consideration for your fellow man?

Okay, composing myself here . . . . . should we really expect anything else coming from ilk of those you've mentioned? I fear that this is the sort of politics we are doomed to deal with for a few years.

This is hilarious. The socialists are now eating each other. Harry lost this battle, badly, but he still has enough control over the Senate that he can do deals with Burris, and get concessions so he won't look too bad. Give the ten points to Blago for sticking in the craw, and Burris for guts.

Harry Reid obviously has little knowledge of the Constitution; we already knew that. Reid's experience is in shady land deals and nepotism. Therefore he is qualified to run the Senate.

First it would help if they read the 17th amendment they must seat Burris they have no legal premise not to. Burris has always been defeated he is not the peoples choice so as a republican I agree they should shut up and seat the man so in 2010 we can easily take it. Obama is all ready worried about taken 2012 presidential seat so he needs all his cronies he is aware Burris will not make it through in 2010 for another term in the Senate. This is the Dem's fear.

Obama came out of the crookedest political machine in the US, the Chicago, Daley, machine. We can expect anything to happen on this watch. Chicago has the nations worst public school system, the highest sales tax at over ten percent, one of the highest rates of welfare recipients, the worst "Good Ole Boy U scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" political system in the country. How so many people got hoodwinked into voting for this scum bag I will never know. I just hope we survive as a Democracy through these next four years.

Burris will get the seat because it is the law of our country. the governor of the state gets to pick the replacement Senator. There is plenty to get angry at Obama and the Dems, especially their unwillingness to do what is necessary to defend our country, so don't let this unimportant matter upset you.

With Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Leon Panetta, Eric Holder, and Napolitano protecting us, we have enough to worry about!
