Favorite "must see" Disneyworld (FL) restaurants?
Alright! I'm trying to plan a trip to Disneyworld Florida. I'll be going with my beloved and he hates planning so I'm trying to put together a list of 20 restaurants for him to look over. We'll be going for 7 days.
So tell me which restaurant you loved and would go to again, and why. :)
We're willing to try any kind of cuisine for any price. It will only be him and myself, and we would prefer something where we could sit down and eat. We really want it more for the experience, so dinner/shows are great, too! But something with a unique kind of flair would be awesome.
The Disney website is a little aggravating to navigate and kind of slow, so far all I really have are the Spirits of Aloha dinner show, the Moroccan belly-dancing restaurant, and am looking for the one where you eat seafood and are surrounded by a giant aquarium, I think in Epcot.
If you have one favorite, or a few, I'm open to any and all suggestions! Thanks in advance!

I love the ambience of San Angel Inn in Mexico and don't skip the pastry shop, Boulangerie Patisserie, in France. It is so yummy!

Whenever we are at Epcot we always eat at the Rose and Crown Pub in the United Kingdom. The food is good and we always eat there for dinner. We normally make our reservations for 7 or 7:30 and ask to sit on the water because the it is a great location for the fireworks (IllumiNations) that start at 9. So make sure you ask and if you are unable to they have viewing area that they invite anyone that gets stuck eating inside to come out and watch.
As far as dinner shows, we have seen the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue 3 times. It is located at Fort Wilderness and is a great show. It is about 2 hours and is offered 3 times a night. If you get the dinning plan it uses 2 sit downs.

If I am in Epcot I always go to Mexico for lunch. There is a place on the lake that has affordable (for disney) filling lunch and these great watermellon drinks. For dinner I like Morocco - very good food, the family meal is awesome, and you can watch belly dancers. Though Mexico dinner you get a nice view of a Volcano...France has very nice deserts!
The Western Themed Hotel...can't think of the name...has a geyser in the back...has a very good steak restaurant inside that we've often enjoyed.
If you want seafood & aquarium there is a restaurant in the living seas exhibit in Epcot that you might enjoy.
When you first get to Epcot if you go to the right of the giant gold ball (spaceship earth) there is a place where you can sit in a little video booth and make a dinner reservation.
Keep in mind you want to finish dinner with enough time to get a good spot on the lake to watch the evening fireworks. ANND the shops all close early in Epcot..finish your shopping before you eat - this has messed me up many times.

Yes, the seafood one is the Coral Reef. Great ambiance.
Some of the cheap (counter service) places not to miss is:
Be Our Guest for lunch (Magic Kingdom-- the best counter service lunch experience you'll ever have).
Epcot Fish & Chips
I love stopping for breakfast at the Writer's Stop at Hollywood Studios-- it's just coffee & muffins and such, but maybe it's because I'm a writer. I dunno.
At Downtown Disney I like the Earl of Sandwich for breakfast or lunch.
For table service meals, I love lunch at the Trail's End at Fort Wilderness.
Table service dinner, try San Angel Inn (Epcot), Coral Reef (Epcot), Portobello (Downtown), the resorts have some great places to eat too (Waves, Maya Grill).
For buffets, I love chef Mickeys for breakfast, 1900 Park Fare for dinner & Ohanas anytime.

The one with the aquarium is at Living Seas in Epcot and is called Coral Reef.
I also recommend:
For neat atmosphere, food is ok - at Hollywood Studios, 50's Prime Time Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine-In. Definitely try at least one of them.
For good food, character meal - Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom.
At Animal Kingdom - Rainforest Cafe if you have never been to one, or otherwise Tusker House
At Epcot - you've already got Moroccoo and Coral Reef. I also recommend Canada, France, or Italy's restaurants.

EPCOT: http://allears.net/tp/ep/ep_rest.htm
- San Angel Inn.. My absolute fav restaurant in Disney. Mexico pavilion. Has a volacano, a river running through it and is inside, but looks like you are outside at nighttime. Very romantic and delicious.
- Tutto Italia.. Italy pavilion. Good food and nice inside. Great service.
- Bistro de Paris.. France pavilion. Haven't been here personally, but it's my friend's fav.
- Coral Reef.. The Living Seas pavilion. This is the one with the aquarium.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS: http://allears.net/tp/mgm/m_rest.htm
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre.. It's themed like an old drive-in. You sit inside the cars to eat while watching old sci-fi horrors. Very fun.
- 50s Prime Time Cafe.. It's themed like an old kitchen from a sitcom. The waitresses are dressed like 50s TV moms. The menu is like the things your mom would cook you. Fun time.
DOWNTOWN DISNEY: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/dining/dining...
- Planet Hollywood
- House of Blues
- Wolfgang Puck
- Rainforest Cafe
The California Grill at the Contemporary is supposed to be really good. I saw it on the travel channel. Animal Kingdom has a Rainforest Cafe. There are also a ton of other restaurants in Downtown Disney.
Epcot has a lot of nicer restaurants for dinner. Hollywood Sudios has fun themed ones, great for lunch. Magic Kingdom doesn't have many sit down restaurants, more counter service. But there are some great bakery/sweets shops on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom that you should definitely check out. Make reservations ahead of time, esp at Epcot. They book up quickly.

Hope this helped. Have a great trip!!

Garden Grill is our absolute favorite, or at least it is mine. It is at the Land in Epcot. It is a family style buffet with characters. Which means that you sit down and the waiter brings out plates of food of various dishes including salads, breads, turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, catfish, steamed vegetables (That are grown downstairs. You can go through the green house if you ride the boat ride) and more. You get separate plates to serve yourself. And while you are eating the restaurant literally rotates, although slowly. We did however went completely around by the time we got done eating though. It just depends on how fast they have it set. Also Mickey and friends (Pluto, Chip, and Dale) come around to the table for pictures and autographs.
The Sci-Fi Dine In Theater at Hollywood Studios use to be my favorite until we discovered the Garden Grill. It is a themed restaurant that is decorated like a drive in movie theater. You sit in car tables. While you eat you watch old sci-fi flicks (Not full length ones). It even includes little advertisements that are amusing and fun. The food is excellent with many options. I do suggest the spinach dip, which is amazing.
The 50's Prime Time cafe, also at Hollywood Studios is another themed restaurant and another favorite of ours. As it is named, it is decorated after a 50's diner, down to the costumes of the waitresses and waiters. They have more home cooked type selections.
