1. Cut taxes

2. Great leadership after 9/11

3. Prevented another 9/11

4. Afghanistan war

5. Some success in Iraq war, such as getting Saddam and and getting a democracy established there. (I was not for the Iraq war, but you can't deny some success there).

6.Stopped Kyoto agreement. This would have been a disaster if implemented because it would have really hurt industry in the country and turn it into a poor country.

7. Gave billions of dollars to Africa.

8. Diverse cabinet with Rice, Powell, and that hispanic attorney general,etc

9.Missile defense started to be implemented.

Even though a lot of people disagree, George will be remembered for the No Child Left Behind Act. It meant that schools had to prepare for all children regardless of race or family circumstances and be held accountable for those children learning the basics. The problem was, after the act was passed, not enough money was allotted for it. Still, many children have improved in the scores and many schools are better because of the stick that the Act held if they did not succeed in teaching all children in a school.

He kicked the Taliban out which Russia couldn't do in Ten yrs. He stood up 2 terriosts and has kept them from hitting us again. Plus he has sent more aide to Africa than any other US president. He also has Freed Iraqi's from a dictator who slaughtered his own people.

Ask not what George did for his country but ask what you can do for your country..

I use to say that the GREATEST thing he did was kept terrorists from killing you...however people like you have me thinking that...that was a mistake, too.
