Anyone know the name of this movie?

A kids goes around the US with a friend (i think) on a skateboard and plays video game tournaments.

Pretty sure it was made in the late 80's.

    Its one of the best movies ever called the Wizard staring Fred Savage and little not talking kid. They are trying to get to California. ha ha
