Even if much of it required diametrically opposed takes on certain facts, they jump right on it and don't even have a clue how they contradict their other stated philosophies and take on facts.

Democrats take on more of a fascist / cult like loyalty to the party. They have varied and diverse feelings on certain issues, but they subjugate those things to who they see are "their people" which is the party which their family and friends identify with.

O'Reilly calls them ideologues, but they are obviously not, they are driven by a cultist group thinking community based tribal style of identification, and don't even think much about issues.

To democrats it's us against those bad enemy Republicans. It's pretty close to the dynamic in what Baseball fans feel, or what strictly knit brain washed religious groups feel.

Social evolution is what Hitler believed in and lead to a justification to genocide. There is a reason why evolution is theory of biology, not a business theory. If economists want to create their own theory based on similar ideas as evolution, they are very well free to. But it won't be the same as the theory of evolution, and either validating or debunking such an economic theory would have no effect on the validity of the theory of evolution.

To break it down to you in simple terms. The theory of evolution has been proven countless times. The theory of social or business evolution hasn't even been formalized, much less been proven.

I don't really understand your question. Evolution is a scientific theory. Its applicability to business is a conceptual adaptation at best.

In any event, businesses normally operate on the basis of survival of the fittest but, as we have seen recently, even Republicans recognize the need to help out businesses when their demise might mean the collapse of our economic system.

I think you are mistaken in thinking that Liberals support the "survival of the fittest" aspect of Darwinism.

That's why you so rarely see a "save the whales" bumper sticker among those supporting Conservative candidates and ideas.

It is ironic though that they absolutely accept Evolution, which implies Natural Competition, and now they want to thwart that same force from now on, as if they have the power to stop the process where it is now.
