When Social Security was made into law in 1935, average life expectancy was 57.5 years. NO benefits would be paid out to anyone until they reached 65 years.

Now,. with life expectancy up to 73 years, shouldn't there be a sliding scale to have someone born today not be able to collect until they are around 81 or 82??? Just asking...

Here is the issue: My wife and I applied for the job f Music DIrector of the church we have been at since forever. We are fully qualified and Have done this work in churches and schools before. The pastor decided to hire someone else who has no clue and has already indicated that she will not let my wife do the job she has had (children's choir director) as she wants a 'clean slate'.

We need to tell the pastor that this new music director doesn't have the skills to do the job, bothin music or administrative ability. How do we do this without the sour grapes hitting the fan???

The family (me, wife and daughter age 6) are going to Universal and WDW in FLA next month. We know our way around the Mouse House, but have no clue about Universal. ANy help to get us around will be appreciated.

BTW, the daughter has NO FEAR and will go on any ride she is qualified to go on...she is approx 44" tall.

I am a teacher who was laid off due to reasons of 'economy'. However, I noticed that the job I had as posted for all to apply for by the school district. I have an administrative hearing on July 14th where I can make my case regarding the situation. How should I go about the hearing without sounding like I am begging for my job?

I have been a bad boy. I stole money from my wife's checking account. I did this through the phone and transferring through linked accounts. She caught me!

I have been on the couch for the last month. My wife has NO trust in me and thinks that everything I do is wrong.

I have given my wife control of the banking accounts and she is giving me an allowance. I do not have access to my account at this time and cannot withdraw money, but I have allowed this to happen.

What can I do to get my wife back???

Since BHO brought up the subject of 9/11 last night (rather flippantly and stupidly in my opinion)...the question must be asked and answered....where was he on that fateful day.

My guess is that he was having a pow wow with Bill Ayers over Mr. Ayers piece in the NY Times where Ayers said that 'I didn't do enough'. One can vote present in Springfield without being there.
