BHO was forced to say nice things about America while shilling for the Olympics to come to Chicago. Did his previous rhetoric cause the IOC to dump Chicago's bid in the first ballot?
first, I would never want to see the USA fail...
second, when the president inserts himself into any foreign entity, it does become foreign policy. Sounds like the translator lost something in the translation
Third, The games are real in the dollars and prestige they bring to the host city and country. Otherwise, no one would bid on them.

Why can't the librals see that the rest of the world is our enemies and that we shouldn't be trying to get along with them people.

As a Translator I find it so interesting that people who have never been directly involved in foreign affairs, make statements which show their
ignorance again and again. No one seems to be embarrassed about
disclosing poor education.
"Foreign Policy Stumble " = a very puzzling statement.

Has the GOP gotten so dumbed down that you can't tell the difference between games and the real deal.

I don`t see why Obama does not just water-board the committee into admitting that the US "deserves" to host the Olympics.

YES.
They wanted to send a message loud and clear that leaders of countries will NOT get special favors. They had to dump it to put an end to such classless shenanigans now.
