Okay Jewish folk out there....?

Can you still abide by your vote for BHO? Best explanation will get the points.

Update:

I see that there are many out there already who think it is okay for Iran to have nuclear power, that Israel gets at least half blame for West Bank/Gaza situation, and that Hamas, which has in its charter the destruction of Israel as a main point are cool with BHO. Perhaps you are more forgiving and better people than I.

I don't think Jewish people are single-issue voters ie Israel. Further, I don't think they have a problem with anything Obama said because it was all quite reasonable. Obama will receive 80%+ of the Jewish vote in 2012. I agree that it is only right-wing evangelical Christians who were upset. They only care about Israel because they think they need it around for Rapture...

Jewish people don't expect zero criticism of Israel. We criticize the Israeli government just as Americans criticize their government. Obama is the best hope for peace in the Middle East in many years, and that is something all Jews can support.

Absolutely. He's been visiting and honoring holocaust victims today, he said yesterday that he and the US are unapologetically behind Israel and that we support a 2 state solution.

I don't understand. Why wouldn't I still abide by my vote? The speech yesterday only said things that most Israelis already accept. It's only American right-wing Christians who are screaming about it, but alas, they don't seem to understand that their messed up opinions don't count for much.

Yes. I'm proud of my Jewish roots but completely opposed to Zionism. America should be ashamed that they supported Israel for so long as they've become the Middle Eastern equivalent of the Nazis.
