Willl my sims 2 game work?
so i just got a new drive for the sims disk because the drive was broken. me and my sister have been playing for a week, but then my brother put in a new graphics card so he could play spore. then we realized, every time we try to buy a sofa the game freezes and we have to restart the computer. today my sister got something on the screen that said "the sims 2 deluxe game has failed. it has been terminated." we are going to take it off then reinstall it. will it still work? we have a PC.
i am just starting to uninstall it
well it worked...... I played for three hours, then I tried to buy a toilet and it froze again...?

"the application will now terminate" message often means that you have a piece of incompatible custom content. This is highly likely if you got any houses from the Exchange. This guide will walk you through how to find and remove the bad custom content.

Another possibility is that you did not get the most up to date drivers for your new graphics card. You should be able to download them for free from the site of whoever made your card, Nvidia, ATI, etc.
