Is this a stupid football stat?

That's what I call a "baseball stat." They get so bored during baseball that they come up with these inane stats in ridiculous situations.

The reason they brought up that meaningless stat was because the Cardinals have lost to away games in the east. All of them if I am correct. The Cardinals offense would fall apart from the get go and just completely fall apart. I guess you have to know that to think the stat as being interesting. Besides, peolpe feed commentators information on the computer screen to assist them. It may not even be a thought out stat that came to his mind.

Generally it would be stupid, but a good reason many people doubted the Cardinals in this game, was their horrible record in the eastern time zone.

yes it is, much like most of the worthless stats they ramble through all game long. i dont know who looks these up or why! who cares if kurt warner has never thrown for 300+ yds in the eastern time zone, during the week of the first full moon of the year, with the temperature below 68.3 degrees and the wind coming from the NW.

In most cases I'd agree but the Cardinals have been so terrible on the east coast this year that there 27 point first half is astounding.

Sounds stupid, but it's just touching on the Cards failures every time they played on the road in the east this year. They were pretty bad

Maybe to us, but to the Cardinals it was a big deal.

Yah, sometimes i dont understand some of the stats, they have one for everything.
