Can we discuss 2012 in 2 years when the "end of the world" is more relevant?

Update:

Maybe I should clarify I don't believe the world will end in 2012.

    Or just stop discussing it.

We don't know when the end of the world will be-whether is 2012 or 2010, we must be prepared for Jesus who will soon come back. Did you ever read the Bible, like the Gospels, where it talks about the signs of the end?

Why don't we just discuss it in 3 years, once the world has "ended"?

    EDIT: That's right, if we're in January 2009, then January of 2013 wouldn't be for 4 years...whoops.

    It's a hoax.

    Like Nessie and the Bigfoot.

And the Y2K, and the Meteor Scare.

    Yeah, let's wait until then!

When Dec. 22nd comes, we can laugh at the people who thought that it was going to end on the 21st!
