You are doing your thesis on Christians who have seen ghosts and aliens?

Really?

You are going to write 50000-100000 words about ghosts AND aliens and people are going to address you as Dr. afterwords?

Wow. I can't even think what field this would qualify in. Psychology maybe, but the subject seems a little narrow honestly.

Additional: You came on Y!A asking for serious answers about aliens and ghosts and you are calling us idiots?!?!

My friend, I am beginning to question the credentials of both you and the institution you attend.

Your right, I see no concieveable way in which the 5 questions you listed could culminate into even a portion of a PhD level thesis. You are trying to connect Christian faith, specific denominations of Christianity,the date that one was saved, ghost and/or alien encounters, and it affect on the person. There is no way you can obtain worthwhile qualitative data from this. The questions simply cover to much information, and do not ask more relevant questions like family history. Not to mention the fact that you asked when people were saved as opposed to a more generic term, is an indication that you are asking these question from the perspective of a Christian and not an unbiased researcher. As a PhD candidate in a field which this kind of research might occur, you should know this.

Sorry, but being an engineer, I pay attention to details. Your approach just doesn't seem like college-level, much less doctorate-level research.

I am a non-denominational born again Christian. I have never seen a ghost. We were told when we bought our old house that it was haunted. I was a new Christian and it scared me so before we moved in I walked into every room and cast out any spirits in the mighty name of Jesus and we never saw a one. And as for aliens. The answer is no but I did see a strange unidentified flying object once. But I'm sure it must have had some logical explaination that I don't know about.

I have never seen a ghost, how would I unless he/she turned into a physical human image.

I have not seen any UFOs or Aliens.

I am a born again Pentecostal Christian, my parents took me to a Pentecostal Church when I was 4 years.

I accepted my Lord when I was 9, was baptized with the Holy Spirit.

I do believe that there are ghosts good and evil ones.

The only ghost we are instructed to seek is the Holy Ghost, He will be our guide and our comfort. We don't need any other ghost.

(2) I follow no religion. If I hear about something, for example, UFOs/Ghosts/Aliens etc, I look into it and make my own beliefs. The reason I follow no religion is because their beliefs are almost all false and they aim to control the masses. Believe it or not.

(4) I saw a UFO last year at my friend's birthday party. It was about 3am in the morning, we were all sitting outside in a circle talking about random things.

(5) No drugs or Alcohol was involved, and I was not feeling tired at the time.

Something in the sky caught my eye. I saw two red dots, one behind the other, moving at high speeds across the sky. They were moving as one which led me to believe it was just one object. It made no sound whatsoever and the lights were not flashing, as most aircraft do.

One other person saw it, too, but not to the extent that I did.

I watched it move across the sky and out of sight.

Naturally, seeing this made me look into the subject.

Encountered a blaspheming man on city transit. At first people were giggling then turned oblivious or very edgy.

I turned to my husband and said very quietly "What do you think we are dealing with here - mental illness or a demonic spirit?" He agreed the later. No sooner did we agree and the man, in what would have normally been an out of earshot seating area, began to wildly react with attacks on the Kingship of Christ (something that had been on my mind a great deal in earlier days) and his voice became guttural in a way you simply do not hear from men.

He got off the vehicle at our stop and walked into a fast food place that we did not enter. We went into the business next door and emerged about 15 min. later.

On the street, we saw him just ahead and we crossed the intersection to head home. I began to ask my husband about Christ's interaction with demons. We discussed how the demon possessed person would approach Christ.

At this point we were walking parallel with the man on the opposite side of a main street artery in this city.

My husband said "For instance, if this man were to come to us...as he is doing now!"

The man turned roboticaly on his heel and stepped directly into traffic in a straight line to us.

On the curb, my back was turned and I prayed aloud.

He stepped slowly onto the sidewalk, faced us both and stared and said nothing. I was praying silently. No words were ever exchanged.

My mind was flooded with the understanding that the Ancient of Days was rebuking this age old being and calling it by name.

He turned slowly and walked away.

We recently had another encounter with someone else.

A friend of mine, a man in his 50's and just recently gone on to glory, described to me how once while in a church service he saw two men appear to slide down like a wave over the rows of pews.

There are few people that I would give this information to here because of the problems of which you are all too aware.

For you friend, I will most certainly make the exception.

On a side note....many years ago as a teenager and probably 12 years or so before my regeneraton, I did distinctly hear a voice in my room say as if inquiring of someone..."is she asleep yet?" and then followed by my name spoken lightly.

Also I just recalled that following my mother's death, I received a call and all that was audible was the sound of a woman sobbing from afar off.

Prior to that, a family member brought to my attention that about 100-125 years prior, records indicated that a woman had been buried in the plot that was now my mother's plot.

He asked if I was concerned. I said no, not all at.

I believe a demon was attempting to get me to doubt God especially in the area of life after death and the subject of souls not being under the Sovereignty of God as the Scripture states they indeed are.

I experienced the presence of a ghost once, I think, but did not see it. No aliens, though.

5. After the teen boy next door blew his brains out, he seemed to haunt us for a while, until my mother in law scared him off...which confirms a lot of theories I have about her.

1) I'm not sure to be honest, I was raised a strict Roman Catholic but I'm gay and don't believe in everything in the Bible so I'm not sure.

5) My first memories were blurry but now they are clear, I've never seen a UFO ship but I have seen uidentified blue lights in the sky, I've been abducted from my room but what is commonly called "greys". I have a fear of sleeping and can only sleep during the day, that's how it has affected me.

I was saved last year as a babtist and I have sen the same ghost multiple times and all he does is walks into my bedroom and disapear but I know that it wouldnt be good to try to comunicate to this spirit because it could be a demon and I'd rather not open any doors that couild let Satan take more controll of my flesh

yes i consider myself a christian, n the bible nothing said about religion and there s no religion that can save us but just only ur faith. mostly i follow catholic but not all of them though i just get watever i know was right...... i was save since God the father send his son Jesus Christ for us to b saved and since i accepted Him for my life.
