Are their any tattoo parlors that will give a 16 year old with parental consent a tattoo in Texas?
I'm 16 years old my mom agreed to let me get a tattoo because I make all A's and I really need help to find a shop or we travel so which states allow it.

You should be able to find one as long as you have parental consent. A few suggestions first. Number one, do not go to the Fantasy Tattoos in Gainsville. I got my first tat there and they did a terrible job. I have two friends that got theirs at the same time and both of them say the same about theirs. The color was patchy and the lines are all crooked.
Secondly, make sure you know exactly what you want. I know that you will hear that over and over but I have one tat that I regret and one that I absolutely adore.
Also since warmer months are coming up remember that sunlight and tanning uv rays are not good for your tat, so make sure and use sunscreen if you are going to be outside with you tat exposed.
A good website I love to explore tats on is tattoojohnny.com

Nope it is against the law in Texas to tattoo a minor. The only exceptions are if the minor goes out and gets an illegal tattoo that is deemed unfit by the court. I wouldn't mess with Texas law....
a client must be a minimum of 18 years of age and shall present at the time of tattooing or body piercing a valid, government issued, positive identification card including, but not limited to, a driver's license, passport, or military identification. The identification must contain a photograph of the individual and a printed date of birth.

(c) An artist may not tattoo a person younger than 18 years of age without consent from the individual's parent or guardian, who determines it to be in the best interest of the minor child to cover an existing tattoo.
(1) The existing tattoo must contain:
(A) obscene or offensive language or symbols;
(B) gang-related names, symbols, or markings;
(C) drug-related names, symbols, or pictures; or
(D) some other type of words, symbols or markings that the court considers would be in the best interest of the minor to cover.
Here's the website:

***Do a ctrl+f and type "younger than 18 years" and your computer will highlight that section, letting you read the laws under how you can get a tattoo younger than 18.

You'll have to go around to tattoo parlors in your hometown and ask. But usually they will give you a tattoo with parental consent.

You should be able to go to any shop and get a tattoo, but only if your mum's with you, or i believe any other parental guardian...

She has to be with you to sign. Until you are 18, you are not legal to do stuff like without parent consent.
