About Palestian, "Militants"?
If as the headline says," Israeli troops battle Palestinian militants in Gaza City", how can they be considered militants if the American backed and armed Israeli forces are doing the attacking in their country. Palestine has been blockaded by the American backed logistics for a long time and are short of food and medicine. Is this just another step towards the New World Order with a single currency and a single government?

Is there some rule that says an army can't attack militants?
No NEW World Order unless you consider the EU to be one.
I don't see it.

Read your history, Palestine has never been a country it has always been a territory of another country. Before Israel became country it was a territory called Palestine which the UK ran as a part of a peach settlement with the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey) during WWI, the Ottoman Empire ran it up until WWI, before that it was Roman territory in which Palestine was the name given to it by them, and before the Romans invaded they called Palestine it was Israel. Furthermore from a historical perspective Gaza is actually a part of land lost to Israel by Egypt as a part of Egypt's war with Israel. So if you truly want to get technical Gaza is in essence Egyptian land that has captured by Israel and allowed to be governed by a Democratically elected terrorist government.
In answer to your question there is no new world order coming or single currency. Instead what you are witnessing is an attempt by Islamic extremist trying to white-wash history by claiming Israel is an illegal occupier when in fact they are not.

Is America backing Egypt as well? Last I heard Egypt is also blockading Hamas. And if I heard wrong then whats the problem? since Hamas has the open border they desire to get the supplies they claim are denied? It's a strange thing to me that thousands of concerned advocates of Hamas seem to have missed that part. It's also strange that no one is firing rockets into Egyptian neighborhoods. It would be okay to do so wouldn't it? Since they are doing the exact same thing as Israel? Wouldn't it be even more justified since they are fellow Muslims and have an obligation to assist Hamas rather then blockade them? Assuming Hamas is truthful in saying they are a peaceful group forced to violence by an illegal blockade.

"in their country"
What country would that be?
A "militant" is a combatant who does not belong to the organized military of a recognized country.
