Which state does my car loan fall under?

I bought a car in Texas, but I currently reside in Alabama. Which state laws cover my loan? I don't know if it would be Texas, since that's where the purchase occurred or in Alabama since that's where I currently live.

The state you got the loan in. If you were at the dealership when you got the loan , then thats the laws they have to go by. If you got the loan in alabama, then thats what the laws are.
