What do u guys think of coach Tony Dungy's retirement?
Colts coach Tony Dungy retires after 13 seasons. I think that his decision was based on the loss of his kid who commit ed suicide cause i don't think he really had time to grieve the loss of his kid. My heart goes out to him and I wish him a very peace full and happy retirement. By the way thank you for playing for the Steelers back in the 70's and winning the Super Bowl with an interception thank you Mr Dungy.

He is one of the classiest men in sports. He went through great off-field adversity with his son and continued strong and did great things in the community. He preached family, faith, and team. He didn't coach through yelling but by winning speaking by his words. He will dearly be missed. Many men leave jobs, but he will leave a legacy. He is an idol and leader for all men, not just men in helmets.

His a great man, i mean how can you not respect Dungy? He's just a perfect coach you want, Told the Colts that they can make it, and made it into super bowl. Winning 2 superbowl and retiring to being a proud father is a good choice.

He turned two of the NFL's suckiest teams into playoff contenders. Better yet, he was a class act on and off the field. He's involved in several charities and organizations such as All Pro Dads. He's a devoted family man and I'm sure didn't have too much time to mourn his son's death. As much as I'll miss him coaching the Colts, I totally respect his wanting to spend more time with this family. Good luck, Tony Dungy!

The Colts will have a head coach next year that is actually 100% committed to the team. Also, they won't have to listen to lectures about the sky daddy or whatever Dungy prattles on about 1/2 the time.

I have gained respect for Tony Dungy after how the owners of the steelers screwed him, said he's a nobody, he can't coach and after he left the steelers he became one of the top 3 coaches in NFL history!

I think I can't wait for his HOF induction, he was a great coach and a good player. He built many defenses before he made his best one, in Tampa. He took the worst defense in Indy and got them to play their best, which was good enough for a SB.

Loved him when he played and coached here in Pittsburgh and followed him throughout his career. Class act. I wish him the best.

excellent coach, even better person. it takes a strong man to weather the storm he faced with his son's tragic loss. the NFL is a better place with his years of coaching.
