If there are 52 weeks in a year how is there only 4 weeks in a month, since 4*12=48 ?

There are not 52 weeks in a years. There are 52.142857 weeks (52.285714 in a leap year). A month can have from 4 to 4.428571 weeks.

But you knew that already, didn't you?

there are more than 4 weeks in a month, the only month that has exactly 4 weeks is February (28 days; 7 days in a week * 4)

some months have 31 days, some have 30

coz there not exactly 4 weeks in a month unless it february, the 4 extra weeks get made up of the extra days

(7 * 4)12 = 336, close enough
